1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ThaliDekho ("Platform", "we", "our"), you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and, for paid provider plans, our No Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. You must provide accurate information and be legally capable of entering into these Terms.

2. Description of Services

ThaliDekho is a hyper-local discovery platform connecting students and working professionals with local mess, canteen, and tiffin service providers. Mess owners upload daily thali menus, prices, and food photos. ThaliDekho acts solely as an informational directory and listing aggregator.

A provider's listing details, menu photos, prices, and menu descriptions are public content. Providers must only upload content they have the right to publish and must keep it accurate.

ThaliDekho does not accept meal or parcel orders, collect meal charges, prepare food, deliver food, or act as an agent of a provider. Students contact or visit providers directly and any meal transaction is solely between the student and provider.

3. Provider Subscriptions & Payments

Provider plans are prepaid, one-time listing periods at the price displayed during checkout and do not renew automatically. Payments are processed through Razorpay. Payment is available only after a mess is approved, and a listing becomes publicly discoverable only while it remains approved, unsuspended, and covered by an active paid plan.

Payment does not guarantee a particular ranking, number of views, calls, visits, or customers. Listing-plan payments are subject to our No Refund & Cancellation Policy and Service Delivery Policy.

4. Food Quality & Provider Responsibility

All meal preparation, hygiene, licensing (FSSAI compliance), and food quality are the sole responsibility of the respective mess owner. ThaliDekho does not prepare, handle, or deliver food, and shall not be held liable for food quality, allergy reactions, or health disputes.

5. Location Features

Location access is optional and used only after a user chooses a location action. Student coordinates help sort nearby listings; owner coordinates set a public listing pin used for discovery and directions. Distance and directions are estimates and users should verify the destination before travelling.

6. Enforcement, Suspension & Reviews

Users agree to provide accurate, honest reviews and feedback. ThaliDekho reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts, hide menu photos, and remove listings involving fake or misleading menu photos, inaccurate information, fraudulent reviews, abusive conduct, or violation of platform rules or applicable laws. A provider suspended or banned for such conduct is not entitled to a refund, and any remaining listing period is forfeited, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

7. Accounts, Content & Reviews

You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting access to it. Providers grant ThaliDekho a non-exclusive permission to host, resize, display, and share uploaded listing and menu content only for operating and promoting their listing. Students may submit one genuine review per mess. Reviews are labelled as student reviews and are not proof of a verified visit. We may remove unlawful, abusive, irrelevant, manipulated, or misleading content.

8. Availability & Changes

We may perform maintenance, change features, or temporarily restrict access for security and operational reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may update these Terms prospectively by posting the revised version and updated date on this page.

9. Disclaimers & Liability

Provider information, menus, prices, hours, availability, reviews, locations, and photos may change or be inaccurate. Users should confirm important details directly with the provider. To the extent permitted by law, ThaliDekho is not responsible for provider conduct, food quality, direct transactions, travel, indirect loss, or loss caused by reliance on third-party listing information. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, under the jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.
